This Past Week Has Been a MONTH.

But y’all have helped me through. Here are my top January ’22 Reads

January has been a MONTH. Actually, the past week and a half alone has been a MONTH. Can’t get into details here, but let’s just say: Work Drama. Work Politics. Work Confusion. Blah blah blah.

My students, as always, are amazing and smart and awesome and fabulous and kind and sweet and clever and magical. But then there’s the blah blah blah of the behind the scenes.

But…Medium — ahhhh. It has been a saving grace this month. It’s my first real full month as a writer on Medium, and I’ve loved it. Even though I’m “online,” it’s this interesting place where I can disconnect, read, discover… and of course write and CONNECT with each of you.

Having read a few posts about some major changes that apparently took place last year here on Medium, I guess a bunch of people left…? I don’t know. Tbh, I don’t care too much about the whys or the complaints or any of that. All I know right now is that it’s sparked my writing mojo again — and it’s been a true honor and pleasure to meet so many of you.
